E3 2017 Press Conference Preview and Times

E3 2017 Press Conference Preview and Times

Below you'll find a round up of some things you can expect to see at this year's E3 in Los Angeles, but check back regularly throughout the event as we accumulate all of the trailers from E3 in one convenient location like last year.

The EA press conference will likely be the same as every other year. 50% sport franchises, 30% non-sport franchises, and 20% smaller games and new IP that just might surprise you (that's the bit I watch for).

  • Star Wars Battlefront 2
  • Fifa/Madden/NBA/NHL '18
  • Need for Speed Payback

All eyes will be on the elusive 4K promise Microsoft made last year, Project Scorpio. Will it be another mid-generation console upgrade or the start of something new?

  • Project Scorpio
  • Crackdown 3
  • Sea of Thieves

Anything could come out of the Bethesda press conference after the Fallout Shelter stunt of a couple years ago. Without the indications of a major Fallout or Elder Scrolls title, it will be interesting to see what they can come up with.

  • Elder Scrolls Online
  • Fallout/Doom VR
  • Skyrim for the Nintendo Switch

The indie game publisher is gaining momentum and will take advantage of their unique position at the E3 event over the weekend. Reports are that they won't announce any new games at the show, but they have a full slate of titles coming out soon.

  • Absolver
  • The Talos Principle
  • Sword of Ditto

The PC-focused press conference should have a strong showing on the back of Player Unknown's Batllegrounds insane popularity, with multiple supporting big names rounding out the schedule.

  • Player Unknown's Battlegrounds
  • Battletech
  • Total War: Warhammer 2

Ubisoft could be the heavy hitters of the entire event with their currently known lineup. I'm looking forward to their press conference a little more than normal, despite knowing I'll have to sit through Aisha Tyler and a Just Dance presentation.

  • Far Cry 5
  • Assassin's Creed Origins
  • South Park: The Fractured But Whole

In 2016 Sony pulled out their three big trump cards in The Last Guardian, Final Fantasy VII, and the return of God of War, so it'll be keenly watching to see what new things they can bring to the show this year.

  • God of War
  • Shenmue III
  • Days Gone

As usual, Nintendo will be airing one of their pre-taped treehouse presentations. With the recent Pokemon news, you would have to assume they'll be leaning very heavily on the latest Mario entry in the franchise.

  • Mario Odyssey
  • Splatoon 2
  • Arms
